A. usually powdered bubble teas are a one step process, they contain some dry milk, sugar, tea, and whatever flavor you've gotten. it is important to add the right amount of the powder. it usually takes A LOT of powder to a small amount of water/milk to flavor it. read the instructions... yours may not contain a sweetener. and if youre using tapioca pearls in them make sure they have been soaked in a sugar solution after cooking.

Q. How do I make strawberry bubble tea exactly like what you get at shops at home? What ingredients do I need? There is a powder and a syrup, do I need both? Do I add milk, or what do I use to make it creamy looking?

A. You didnt mention what type of strawberry bubble tea drink you wanted to make. Smoothie? Tea...milk-green-black? Slushie or Juice? Personaly i think that a strawberry bubble tea smoothie is delish. To make one 1st off you will need a blender. Put two scoops off ice into the blender. (depending on size of ice between 15 big or 20 small) You will need strawberry syrup too. (try maybe an asian market might sell the type to make real ones) and put about a shot glass or two or even 3 (depending on how sweet you want it) of the syrup add between 1 1/2 and 2 scoops of vannilla ice cream and 1-2 real strawberrys... blend it together and you have the smoothie part. To make bubbles you need to go to an asian market and buy a package and follow the… [cont.]

How is bubble tea for your health?
Q. I quite often drink bubble tea, but I know very little about what it contains or how healthy or unhealthy the ingredients are. Could someone who knows about bubble tea please fill me in? Thanks in advance, Gordon.
Asked by Gordon - Sat Jul 18 21:30:13 2009 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments
A. depending on whether you get a powdered, or fresh flavor will affect the nutritional content, but Bubble Tea is just a flavored milk-tea with tapioca "pearls" Milk can be source of calcium, Vitamin D, Vitamin A... The tea may contain antioxidants (especially if green tea is used). Tapioca is just a starch, and to my knowledge the pearls expand in your stomach and can be an effective appetite suppressant. Its possible that sugar is added which in excess is unhealthy. So depending on the starting ingredients, the nutritional content will vary, but on a whole I would not consider extremely unhealthy compared to some other things

Q. Whenever I order a fruit shake or smoothie, and even bubble tea, I always see them add some watery stuff, but I don't think it's water. What is it? How bad for you is bubble tea?
Q. i just discovered bubble tea lattes and shakes. they are amazing, but I'm guessing because they taste good, they are majorly bad for you. does anyone have any nutrion information for bubble tea drinks?
Asked by megs1bq - Tue May 8 02:43:00 2007 - - 2 Answers - 1 Comments
A. It really depends on the ingredients, but those teas can have up to 600 calories and, 5 grams of fat, but about 4-6 grams of protein. That's for the teas with the tapioca pearls. Delicious, but you might want to be careful.
